Vimbai Mupfupi

CEO & Founder

Vimbai is an experienced social work professional with over 10 years of practice supporting individuals and families through complex and challenging circumstances across Scotland. Her work has consistently focused on safeguarding vulnerable groups and championing the rights of children and adults, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

Having been brought up in Scotland, she brings valuable lived experience of growing up as a woman in Scotland and holds a strong commitment to supporting Black women within Scottish communities. Her work spans the United Kingdom, Uganda, Kenya, and Zimbabwe.

She has extensive experience supporting women and children affected by gender-based violence, mental health challenges, social isolation, substance misuse, and exploitation.

Executive Lead

Nomsa Ndebele is a Scotland-based property and business professional, entrepreneur, and proud mum with a passion for supporting women in both their personal and professional journeys.

She is especially committed to advocating for Black women to receive the best care, workplace support, and opportunities to thrive at every stage of life, including motherhood.

Through BWISE, she is dedicated to building spaces of connection, empowerment, mentorship, and long-term support for women across Scotland.
